“The students really liked seeing a job completed! Thank you for letting them help you. This goal of the class. . . is for students to discover the nonprofit agencies in Holland who help people and to take part in the community by helping whenever possible. Too many middle school students want to help but are told they are 'too young' to do anything. This class gives them the chance to show their caring side.” -Marguerite Stephens, History Chair, Black River Public School, September 2009
